Background
Gnocchi Friends is a rapidly growing consulting team in Switzerland. To maintain a competitive edge, leadership decided that the entire team must adopt an AI-native workflow using Claude Code.
Aldo, leading the transition, knew that just telling developers to download Claude wasn't enough. Without a consistent workspace configuration and structured knowledge base, team members would end up using the AI in fragmented, ad-hoc ways, limiting overall productivity.
Challenge
Team Onboarding Friction: Getting 8+ developers onto a unified AI tool chain like Claude Code without disrupting their current projects or developer environments.
Knowledge Silos: Developers starting prompts from scratch, meaning Claude lacked the specific product architecture context, local standards, or codebase styling guidelines.
Inconsistent Workflows: Different team members using varied configurations and manual scripts, leading to inconsistent outputs and code structure.
Solution
We collaborated closely with Aldo's engineering team to build a production-grade Claude Code setup. First, we designed a centralized, structured AI knowledge base that integrates directly into their developer workspace.
Next, we held live pair-programming sessions and practical setup workshops to align the entire team. We configured custom context files and project instructions, ensuring Claude understands local patterns, database schemas, and codebase rules from the very first prompt. Today, Claude Code is the team's default tool. Developer productivity has surged, and Aldo shares: *"Claude Code is not a tool for us. It is the tool. Schnellstart got the whole team to the same level."*
