About Florian
Florian Witschi builds systems where failure is not an option. A four-year electronics apprenticeship at Baumer Group in Frauenfeld (2014–2018) gave him a hardware foundation in Swiss precision industry. He then worked as a technician at Abbott in Zurich before moving into software through an internship at Zürcher Kantonalbank and a role as software engineer at Adnovum (2023–2024).
Since January 2025 Florian has worked at Skyguide, Swiss air navigation services, in System Monitoring & Control: infrastructure where mistakes are not tolerated. He brings the same discipline to schnellstart.ai: architecture with audit logs, traceable encryption, deployments that stay in Switzerland or the EU.
Alongside, he built a machine-learning foundation (Andrew Ng's DeepLearning.AI series, 2022) and trained in cybersecurity as a Junior Penetration Tester (TryHackMe, 2025). Anthropic AI Fluency followed in 2025 and the Yale programme in Financial Markets in 2026.
Florian understands sensors, firmware and model integration alike, and he can attack the systems he builds in order to secure them.
